1989年毕业于内蒙古大学电子系，获工学学士学位，毕业后到内蒙古工业大学电气系任教。现任电力学院自动化系副教授，“电力电子与电力传动”学科硕士生导师。
主要研究方向为电力电子技术及其应用、新型开关电源变换技术。前者主要研究电力电子技术在风力发电、光伏发电等新能源发电系统中的应用，研究各种变换器的结构、控制方法；后者主要研究各类新型开关电源的变换技术，以PWM变换技术为核心，研究谐振变换技术。
教学工作上目前主讲本科生的《电力电子技术》、《电气电子CAD技术》和研究生《现代电力电子技术》课程，并指导研究生科研工作和本科生毕业设计。
在职期间主持和参与完成多项内蒙自然科学基金项目、教育厅项目和企业横向课题。发表学术论文10余篇，曾获内蒙古自治区科技进步二等奖、三等奖各一项。
Resume of Associate Professor
LixinTian,Graduated and obtained Bachelor Degree in the Department of Electronics of theInner Mongolia University in 1989, having been teaching in the Department ofElectronics of the Inner Mongolia University of Technology from 1989 till now.Associate professor of the department of Automation in the Schoolof Electronics.
Field of research lies in the technology and application of power andelectronics, new switching power supply transformation technology. The Formeraims at researching in the power and electronics application of wind power, PVand other application of new energy power generation system as well as thestructure of the variable converters and control methods. The latter focuses onall kinds of new switching power supply transformation technology from whichthe resonant transformation technology is studied oriented by PWMtransformation technology.
Now teaching “Power Electronics Technology”, “Electrical and ElectronicCAD Technology” for undergraduate students and “Modern Power Electronics Technology”for graduate students.In the meantime, leading researchprograms and graduation thesis for both graduate and undergraduate students.
During working, hosted and participated in the Inner Mongolia Natural ScienceFoundation projects, the projects of the Education Department and somehorizontal projects for Enterprises. Published more than 10 academic papers.Wonthe Second and Third Science and Technology Progress Award in InnerMongolia respectively.
